What We Support

The Monarch Parent Teacher Foundation is actively supporting the continued enrichment of our students’ education by providing annual support of technological learning through grade level grants, and educational subscriptions like accelerated reader and Seesaw. This year, MPTF will support enrichment programs like PE, Art, Science & Stem, and the Garden program. The Foundation also supports counseling resources for all students, library books, playground equipment, and more! Campaign Monarch also helps fund annual school events such as Family Nights which may include the Art Show, Cultural Night, Red Ribbon Week, Valentine's Dance, Science Week, Talent Show and Teacher Appreciation week.

About Campaign Monarch

Please help our school!

In order to continue our mission of supporting our school and enriching the education of our students, we need the support of our Monterey Ridge families. This year our goal is $100,000! We are requesting a suggested donation of $325 per family for the Foundation Level or $375 per family for the Monarch Level (which includes a complimentary youth spirit wear tee). This amount is suggested, but no donation is too big or too small. Monthly payments are available on request. All donations are due by Friday, September 29 to receive benefits.

2023-2024 Funding Goals

Teachers and school leaders often see the need for academic resources, enrichments and educational tools that cannot be funded by the school district. The Monterey Parent Teacher Foundation is there to provide those resources for our students and minimize those shortfalls. The MPTF exists to bridge those funding gaps and bring these programs back to our students. The 2023-2024 budget necessary to support these initiatives and ensure our children’s success is currently $300,000.

Our current budget is broken down into these categories:

  • Technology and IMPACT Funds
  • Classroom and Teacher Grants
  • School Events
  • Student Enrichment Programs
  • Garden Program
  • School Facilities and Equipment
  • Library
Corporate Matching

Many employers are willing to match contributions their employees make to nonprofit organizations.  As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Monterey Parent Teacher Foundation is eligible for this type of funding, which means you can double your contributions just by filling out a few forms.

Some businesses that match are Qualcomm, Apple, Google, Northrop Grumman, Sony, LPL Financial, Solar Turbines, J&J, Novartis, Thermo Fisher, Eli Lilly, BroadCom, and BAE Systems just to name a few.

To find out if your employer will match your contribution, click here. You can then use the quick search functionality to look up your employer and find out how to request a match.

All classes with 80% participation will earn a popsicle party! Please consider donating and/or volunteering your time for the many events funded by MPTF.
