In 2016, the Parent Teacher Association became a part of the Monterey Ridge Educational Foundation (Foundation). Around school, we are known as the Monarch Parent Teacher Foundation. We bring the Monterey Ridge Elementary School community together to raise funds and support the enrichment of our students. We not only provide financial support, we also coordinate volunteers for school activities and events.

The Monterey Ridge Educational Foundation (MREF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing financial support for Monterey Ridge Elementary School (MRES) to expand and enhance the quality of education for all students attending the school.

Meet the Board

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors who meet regularly. The MRES Principal, Vice Principal, and a Teacher Representative attend our meetings to represent the school and teachers. Meet the Board

What We Support

The education and enrichment of the students at Monterey Ridge Elementary School is outstanding. Unfortunately, State funding is often not sufficient to provide the level of excellence or breadth of exposure to supplemental programs. We invite you to learn more about the programs and activities supported by the Foundation.
